E-mote

E-mote

The problem of money is a serious one. I can understand the concern. Truly.

The only way to make money, is by being valuable to others. Money is not only the result of labor, but the result of people’s perceived value towards you. Labor is only part of it.

If people do not like you, or what you make, you will not be able to make money. At the same time, the things that make people like or dislike you are part of your passion.

Personally, I believe you have talent and drive. You are a hardworking and consistent person who is always looking to improve himself. This is very rare. I believe you have the ability to reach the labor threshold. Your problem is only in the value part.

Of course that’s not the whole story. Even if you make something that’s good, and that people will value, you still need to make sure they know it exists.

In my opinion, if you make a simple game with simple ideas, with strong eros, you will be successful. There are creators on Fantia making thousands just through simple animations. I believe your animation ability to be superior to theirs, and on top of that, you are making VNs. VNs are a much harder product to create. When it comes to marketing, I don’t know too much.

All I know is that putting games on Sale on DLsite has a higher chance of the game re-appearing on front pages for people. Most sales in the lifetime of a product happen in the first month. Sales allow product performance to be temporarily reinvigorated because people will see it again. Reviews and a good product page are also important.

My advice? Start a new DLsite account with 0 perceived value and release your next game on it.
When it comes to story, you can make a simpler story with a focus on character feelings and relationships. The value of the animations and the overall quality of the product should make it popular.

Either way, I wish you luck. You are one of the few creators I know that makes their heroines truly feel like they love the protagonist more than the protagonist loves them. With the sole exception of Ino Musume XD.

I seem to have trouble commenting here.
I sent you a message on twitter with a full reply. I hope this message goes through.

I checked Twitter and read the comments.
      Thank you for your opinion.

      Did wordpress get any errors?
The character input in the comment field was supposed to be turned off, and the inquiry function seems to work fine for simple comments.

Is it simply a character problem, or is it caused by the environment?
I don’t know if the plugin is bad, but I need more information to find out why.

Just in case, Ci-en re-created the account and re-created the page.
It depends on the future, but I plan to reprint the article here. It’s just a plan, and I won’t do it if it’s too much trouble, so it’s a plan now.

Excuse me, I just noticed that the comment was in the trash for some reason.
Sometimes wordpress doesn’t really know what to say, and sometimes you find that your comment has been thrown in the trash.

I’ll think about what kind of specification it is, and how the comment can be reflected without being thrown in the trash, and see if I can do something about it.
